Methodology and editorial policy

Every Pilotiko page follows four rules: only present as available what really exists in the product; source every figure or label it a “Pilotiko estimate” with its calculation; date every page and review it; never publish a fake testimonial, a fake customer or a promise of results.

How is the product status decided?

A single file describes what Pilotiko does and each capability's status: “Available” (built and tested), “Being commissioned” (code written, real provider not connected yet, nothing is sent) or “Coming soon” (not built yet). Every page shows that status; a capability only moves to “Available” with proof (a test or a trial with the real provider).

How are sources chosen and verified?

  • We prefer official sources: Quebec and Canadian governments, CNESST, regulators, official search engine and vendor documentation, competitors' official pages.
  • Each source is recorded in a registry with its access date; its address is checked automatically before each publication, and a source that stops responding is flagged.
  • A figure without a public source is labelled “Pilotiko estimate” and its calculation is shown.

How are pages checked before publication?

  • An automatic check reviews every page made at scale: its own data, an example or calculation, at least five real questions, verified sources, text distinct from other pages, an update date.
  • A page that fails is not published: it stays out of search engines and is listed for improvement.
  • Pricing pages, comparisons and studies are only published after a lawyer's review.

How is artificial intelligence used?

AI tools help draft some pages. Each page is then checked: facts against their sources, capabilities against the product, forbidden wording removed. We publish no generated text without that check.

How do I report an error?

Write to us through the contact page with the page address. A confirmed error is corrected and the update date changes.

Frequently asked questions

Does Pilotiko publish customer testimonials?

Not at this time. We will only publish real testimonials, with customers' written consent.

Are the comparisons neutral?

They are written by Pilotiko, so not neutral; they are honest: each says where the other option is better and cites the official pages consulted.

What does “Pilotiko estimate” mean?

A figure calculated by Pilotiko from displayed assumptions, not a measurement published by an organisation. The calculation is always shown.

How often are pages reviewed?

Main pages and prices every quarter, official rates every year, and any page as soon as an error is reported.

Is Pilotiko paid to recommend tools?

No. No page contains affiliate links or paid placements.
