Your website, built and hosted by Pilotiko

A site generated from what Pilotiko actually knows about your business, blocked on any failed check, and published only once you approve it.

The website capability is available in Pilotiko. From your services, contact details and existing site, Pilotiko generates a complete version, runs quality checks, shows you a preview, then publishes it after your approval. Every version is kept and can be put back online in one click.

In short

  • Status: available. Building, preview, approval, hosting and rollback all work today.
  • A number missing from your data fails the version: the site never invents prices or statistics.
  • Your domain is connected after proof of ownership, DNS and HTTPS.
  • Limits: no page-by-page visual editor, no online payments, hosting by Pilotiko only.

How does Pilotiko build your site?

It starts from your business's knowledge base (services, products, description, contact details, brand rules) and your current site if you have one, then picks a mode: new, keep, improve or rebuild.

The mode is recommended from the analysis of your current site. With no usable site, Pilotiko creates a new one. A site scoring 85 or more with no critical issue is kept. A site under 50, or where half the pages are not mobile-ready, or that has only one or two pages, is rebuilt. Everything else is improved. You can force a different mode.

If Pilotiko knows no service, product or description yet, it refuses to generate rather than fill the site with generic copy. Your old site's colours and fonts can be carried over; otherwise three styles are offered: light, sober or warm. Images from the old site are brought over, and old URLs are kept, redirected (301) or retired (410) according to a mapping table.

Which checks must a version pass?

Every version goes through quality checks in 7 categories: technical, functional, search, mobile, accessibility, content and preservation of the old site. One failure blocks approval. Checks include working links and forms, a unique title and h1 per page, valid JSON-LD, a sitemap and robots.txt, contrast and visible focus, and a number check: any figure missing from your data fails the version.

The checks state what they do not measure: real on-screen layout and screen-reader use are not tested automatically. Rendering is deterministic: the same specification produces exactly the same files, with no inline script.

How do you publish and roll back?

The database guarantees one live version and one preview per project at a time. The history keeps the last 30 deployments, and every step (generation, preview, approval, deployment, restore) goes into the audit log.

  1. 1

    Generate

Each run creates a new draft version; the live version is never touched.

  2. 2

    Preview

You see the site in a frame, with the check report and the list of files added, removed or changed.

  3. 3

    Approve

The owner or a manager approves; that is impossible while a check is blocking. The approver's name and time are recorded.

  4. 4

    Deploy

Pilotiko publishes, re-reads the served page and compares its fingerprint with the version. If they differ, the previous version goes back online automatically.

  5. 5

    Restore if needed

An archived version goes back online in one step, without regenerating.

How many pages will a small business site have?

Where is the site hosted, and how do you connect your domain?

Pilotiko hosts the site itself. It is first served on a Pilotiko subdomain and kept out of search (noindex header and a robots.txt that disallows everything) until the owner clicks Make public. Google notes that robots.txt manages crawling, and that noindex is the right way to keep a page out of results [3].

Your own domain is connected after three proofs: a TXT record for ownership, the CNAME or A record, then an HTTPS certificate and a real response from Pilotiko. Certificates are only issued for a proven domain. See Cloudflare and GoDaddy for the status of those connections. Buying a domain through Pilotiko is not wired up.

The contact form guards against bots (honeypot field, 5 submissions per minute per IP address). Each submission creates a request to handle and a customer record if the person is new, with no tracking cookie. Pages include a sitemap, which helps Google discover URLs but does not guarantee they are crawled and indexed [1], and LocalBusiness data, the schema.org type for a physical business [2].

What are the website's limits?

Visibility in Google and AI engines is detailed on the SEO, AEO and GEO page. Article copy is prepared with content drafting, and inquiries received through the site are the lawful starting point for prospecting.

  • No page-by-page visual editor: you change the data or style, then regenerate.
  • No store or online payment; booking from the site is an external link.
  • Hosting by Pilotiko only: no export to WordPress or another host.
  • One language per site: no bilingual version with hreflang tags.
  • No built-in audience measurement: see reports.

Frequently asked questions

Does Pilotiko publish my site without my approval?

Not on your domain: no version goes there without approval, and the domain is never pointed automatically. When the account opens, a first site may be published on a Pilotiko subdomain, kept out of search until you click Make public.

What happens if a deployment fails?

Pilotiko re-reads the served page after deploying. If it does not match the approved version, the previous version goes back online automatically.

Can I keep my current domain?

Yes. You prove ownership with a TXT record, point the domain, and Pilotiko checks HTTPS before activating the site.

Can the site invent numbers or reviews?

No. A number missing from your data fails the quality check, and a Google rating is only shown if it was actually observed with at least one review.

Can I sell online with this site?

Not today. Product pages have no online payment.

Will my old site lose its URLs?

Not if you don't want it to. A mapping table keeps, redirects with a 301 or retires with a 410 each old address.
